Current beauty favourites!

Hi guys!

How are we all?

So as it’s a wee bit late to do an ‘April beauty favourites’ and too early for a ‘May beauty favourites’ I thought I would give u a run down of my current favourites! ๐Ÿ™‚

Tony Moly – Banana hand cream

image

image

I am in love with this gorgeously cute Korean banana hand cream! Smells like those foamy banana sweets I had as a kid and is very moisturing and non sticky! I got this in a recent Korea/UK beauty swap (check out my blog post).
If you’re from the UK they sell these on Amazon ๐Ÿ™‚

EOS lip balm (Strawberry)

image

Another recent beauty swap (check out my UK/USA beauty swap post) where I was lucky enough to get one of these ๐Ÿ˜€ Hard to find (and expensive) in the UK but I love the formula of these…nearly all natural and are cruelty free! Keeps my lips chap free all year long! ๐Ÿ™‚
In the UK they can be bought at Topshop, Selfridge’s and at http://www.cultbeauty.co.uk

Batiste dry shampoo (Cherry)

image

For someone like me who has very thick hair that gets greasy quick this dry shampoo is a life saver! No other dry shampoo works (and smells) as good as Batiste!
They sell these everywhere! ๐Ÿ™‚

Too Faced shadow insurance (eye primer)

image

This is a sample size but boy does this last a long time! If you wear eye shadow especially vibrant colours I really recommend this one by too faced, it really makes your shadows look great and last for ages.
Buy from Debenhams, boots or at http://www.toofaced.com

Liz Earle – brow pencil (dark)

image

My favourite brow pencil is this one by Liz Earle…makes my brows look great and is full of lovely ingredients like avocado oil…love!

Beauty blender

image

My sister got me this from home bargains for about a ยฃ1!….this works amazingly at blending in foundation and concealer… Such a bargain considering most beauty blenders I’ve seen are between ยฃ10-15! ๐Ÿ™‚

Clarins ‘blue’ perfume

image

My mum loves this perfume and Ive always loved how it smelt on her so she gave me a bottle that had about a quater left (she had another full bottle ready).
I really love the smell of this, really clean & fresh smelling not at all sweet or fruity (isn’t it always hard to describe perfume?) It’s the type of scent that suits anyone and is even quite unisex in my opinion ๐Ÿ™‚
Can be bought at Debenhams and Boots for ยฃ32 (100ml).

Thanks for reading guys!

Love Nina xoxo ( อกยฐ อœส– อกยฐ)

Lush – ‘Granny Takes a Dip’ bath bomb review

Happy Easter Dolls!

Hope everyone has a great Easter and doesn’t eat too many chocolate eggs! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Here is my review for the ‘Granny Takes a Dip’ bath bomb by Lush ๐Ÿ™‚

‘Granny Takes a Dip’

image

image

Obviously I was drawn to the shape & colour of this fun bath bomb and it certainly didn’t disappoint!
It has that iconic ‘Lush’ scent and is described as ‘sensory explosion in the tub, a ginger, pepper and lemon-scented bath time experience’

image

image

image

As you can see from the photos/video it visually excites the senses with it’s colourful explosion of loveliness!
It doesn’t fizz-out quick as it’s a ‘slow burner’ bath bomb so expect to be watching it gently fizz for a good 10 minutes ๐Ÿ™‚

The scent filled my entire flat it and made my skin lovely and soft.

Lush – ‘Fizzbanger’ bath bomb review (video demo!)

Hi dolls!

So I ordered 4 different bath bombs from Lush the other day as I want to review each one for you guys over the coming days ๐Ÿ™‚

image

Fizzbanger

image

I’ve tried many bath bombs from Lush but I’ve never (that I can remember) bought this baby!
It’s motto ‘feel fireworks’ intrigued me as I get so mesmerised watching them dissolve in the water.

‘With warming cinnamon leaf oil for explosive toffee scented bath times’

Well, I don’t know about anyone else but all I could smell was ‘fizzy lemonade’, which I loved! Glad I didn’t smell any cinnamon as it might have put me off a little.

image

image

image

image

image

It certainly dissolved fast and sounded loud as it had popping candy in it! Love that as I’m such a big kid at heart! ๐Ÿ˜€

As you can see it started fizzing yellow then changed colour into blue, the colours all swirled together making the water look like a sort of psychedelic toxic spill! ๐Ÿ˜€

My skin felt soft and clean afterwards, shame the lovely uplifting scent didn’t stay long but overall I loved this bath bomb and for ยฃ3.35 was well worth it ๐Ÿ™‚

My favourite perfumes – Review

Good Afternoon Dolls!

Decided to review/tell you  about my current favourite perfumes ๐Ÿ™‚

image

Britney spears ‘Curious’

I’ve been spraying this for the last 10 years (obviously not the same bottle ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) and out of all Britney’s perfumes this is hands down my favourite.

image

With notes of Vanilla, Pear, lotus and Magnolia, it’s a very feminine scent, for some reason it reminds me of Christmas because that’s when I always seem to get it ๐Ÿ™‚
I love the bottle as well ๐Ÿ™‚

Body shop – Moringa

image

You will adore this little perfume spray (only ยฃ8.50!).
It’s light, fresh & crisp and really reminds me of a sunny, cloudless summers walk, lovely floral, clean fragrance.

Philosophy ‘Pure Grace’

image

A ‘soap & water’ scent, a very ‘Clean’ unisex scent, reminds me of a freshly bathed baby.
Philosophy  never has a description for their perfumes as they don’t want you to have a prejudged perception in mind.
If I had to think of another perfume which is a bit similar I would say ‘Glow by Jlo’.
I will say you will never be disappointed with a Philosophy perfume.

Clinique ‘Happy’

image

image

My favourite ever perfume is awarded to ‘Happy’ by Clinique ๐Ÿ™‚
My sister introduced me to it a few years ago and I’ve loved it ever since….It’s described as ‘A refreshing, flowery fragrance with notes of floral jasmine, lily of the valley and carnation’ but believe me it smells so much nicer than any description.
This set (which I got for Christmas) comes with travel sized variants of the original ‘Happy’ for example the ‘Happy – Flowers’ has abit more of a floral kick and the ‘Happy – Citrus’ has more of a citrusy kick, however they all smell pretty much the same as the regular ‘Happy’ which I love the most and get the most compliments ๐Ÿ™‚
