Liz Earle – Nail polish review

Hi Dolls!

Today I bring you a review of Liz Earle’s nail polish in 02 ‘Quicksand’.

image

image

I bought this gorgeous shade of soft sand/beige back in February at their beautiful Leeds store.

As many of you know both myself and my sister Louise LOVE anything Liz Earle! I mainly love their Skincare products and my sister the cosmetics but we just love everything! 😀

A few years ago Liz Earle launched their cosmetic line and I didn’t try any of their nail polish at first but while in their store in February I couldn’t resist especially at all the rave reviews I read and the price, only £8.50 for a premium good quality nail polish 🙂

image

They have 12 gorgeous colours and I plan to get more during the summer but ‘Quicksand’ is such a lovely neutral shade that I wanted to try it first:)

The polish itself painted on beautifully with a nice, long brush and non-drip formula. To get the most out of the colour I used a topcoat (OPI). I had about 6 days wear before I noticed any chipping which I think is pretty good as I normally get around 2-3 days from my OPI or Barry M polishes so I was very impressed 🙂

Lush – ‘Granny Takes a Dip’ bath bomb review

Happy Easter Dolls!

Hope everyone has a great Easter and doesn’t eat too many chocolate eggs! 😉

Here is my review for the ‘Granny Takes a Dip’ bath bomb by Lush 🙂

‘Granny Takes a Dip’

image

image

Obviously I was drawn to the shape & colour of this fun bath bomb and it certainly didn’t disappoint!
It has that iconic ‘Lush’ scent and is described as ‘sensory explosion in the tub, a ginger, pepper and lemon-scented bath time experience’

image

image

image

As you can see from the photos/video it visually excites the senses with it’s colourful explosion of loveliness!
It doesn’t fizz-out quick as it’s a ‘slow burner’ bath bomb so expect to be watching it gently fizz for a good 10 minutes 🙂

The scent filled my entire flat it and made my skin lovely and soft.

Lush – ‘Hoppity Poppity’ bath bomb review!

Hi Dolls!

Lush always brings out great, fun bath bombs especially at Easter and the one that took my eye was the cute Easter bunny ‘Hoppity Poppity’
image

image

First of all I LOVE the scent, it contains lavender, violet leaf oil and lime, it smells amazing, kind of like Parma Violet sweets that I had as a kid! 🙂

It fizzed in the water pretty fast and quickly changed colour to pink along with the sound of popping candy.

The scent stayed for quite along time (my flat smelled so good!) And my skin felt lovely & moisturised (due to the moisturising properties of the violet leaf oil)

Lush describe ‘Hoppity Poppity’ as ‘Take a dip with this most delightful bunny to feel like you’re strolling down a crisp spring lane’

Lush – ‘Fizzbanger’ bath bomb review (video demo!)

Hi dolls!

So I ordered 4 different bath bombs from Lush the other day as I want to review each one for you guys over the coming days 🙂

Fizzbanger

I’ve tried many bath bombs from Lush but I’ve never (that I can remember) bought this baby!
It’s motto ‘feel fireworks’ intrigued me as I get so mesmerised watching them dissolve in the water.

‘With warming cinnamon leaf oil for explosive toffee scented bath times’

Well, I don’t know about anyone else but all I could smell was ‘fizzy lemonade’, which I loved! Glad I didn’t smell any cinnamon as it might have put me off a little.

It certainly dissolved fast and sounded loud as it had popping candy in it! Love that as I’m such a big kid at heart! 😀

As you can see it started fizzing yellow then changed colour into blue, the colours all swirled together making the water look like a sort of psychedelic toxic spill! 😀

My skin felt soft and clean afterwards, shame the lovely uplifting scent didn’t stay long but overall I loved this bath bomb and for £3.35 was well worth it 🙂
