Current beauty favourites!

Hi guys!

How are we all?

So as it’s a wee bit late to do an ‘April beauty favourites’ and too early for a ‘May beauty favourites’ I thought I would give u a run down of my current favourites! πŸ™‚

Tony Moly – Banana hand cream

I am in love with this gorgeously cute Korean banana hand cream! Smells like those foamy banana sweets I had as a kid and is very moisturing and non sticky! I got this in a recent Korea/UK beauty swap (check out my blog post).
If you’re from the UK they sell these on Amazon πŸ™‚

EOS lip balm (Strawberry)

Another recent beauty swap (check out my UK/USA beauty swap post) where I was lucky enough to get one of these πŸ˜€ Hard to find (and expensive) in the UK but I love the formula of these…nearly all natural and are cruelty free! Keeps my lips chap free all year long! πŸ™‚
In the UK they can be bought at Topshop, Selfridge’s and at

Batiste dry shampoo (Cherry)

For someone like me who has very thick hair that gets greasy quick this dry shampoo is a life saver! No other dry shampoo works (and smells) as good as Batiste!
They sell these everywhere! πŸ™‚

Too Faced shadow insurance (eye primer)

This is a sample size but boy does this last a long time! If you wear eye shadow especially vibrant colours I really recommend this one by too faced, it really makes your shadows look great and last for ages.
Buy from Debenhams, boots or at

Liz Earle – brow pencil (dark)

My favourite brow pencil is this one by Liz Earle…makes my brows look great and is full of lovely ingredients like avocado oil…love!
Β£11 from

Beauty blender

My sister got me this from home bargains for about a Β£1!….this works amazingly at blending in foundation and concealer… Such a bargain considering most beauty blenders I’ve seen are between Β£10-15! πŸ™‚

Clarins ‘blue’ perfume

My mum loves this perfume and Ive always loved how it smelt on her so she gave me a bottle that had about a quater left (she had another full bottle ready).
I really love the smell of this, really clean & fresh smelling not at all sweet or fruity (isn’t it always hard to describe perfume?) It’s the type of scent that suits anyone and is even quite unisex in my opinion πŸ™‚
Can be bought at Debenhams and Boots for Β£32 (100ml).

Thanks for reading guys!

Love Nina xoxo ( Ν‘Β° ΝœΚ– Ν‘Β°)

My favourite hair products!

Hi dolls!

Thought I would show you my current favourite hair products! πŸ™‚
If you would like a full review of any of the products listed then just holla in the comments πŸ™‚

Liz Earle – Botanical shine hair oil

I apply this golden botanical hair oil to the ends of my hair (wet hair) after it has been freshly washed to really pack in moisture as well as preventing those pesky split ends!

The natural, organic oil smells like a heavenly mix of all those beautiful oils they source.
Unfortunately Liz Earle had to discontinue the ‘yangu oil’ due to a bad harvest in Kenya however they replaced it with a type of melon oil, so all is good πŸ™‚

Botanical shine hair oil-Β£17.25

V05 ‘Give me texture’ styling creme

When I want a more ‘choppy’ look i apply a small amount to towel dried (only really works on short/medium layered hair) hair and then blow-dry for an edgy, choppy look to your style.

Asda – Β£2 (bought when on offer)

Percy & Reed – ‘Wonder balm’

If I want a more smoother and polished look to my hair then I like to use the Percy & Reed ‘Wonder balm’ as a ‘go to’ product.
I apply a small amount to towel dried hair from the roots to the ends then blow dry as normal, this creates a glossy finish which is easy to style. Smells gorgeous too!

Wonder balm – Β£18

Osis – Sparkler shine spray

This is my favourite ever hair product! I’ve been using this on and off for quite a few years now.
I spray around my hair (dry hair) to give my hair that ‘mock’ healthy shine πŸ˜‰
I have blonde hair but this would work especially well on dark hair.

Osis shine spray – Β£12.15
Sally’s beauty

Batiste dry shampoo ‘Oriental’

Who doesn’t love dry shampoo?! I spray this on my roots to refresh any oily roots as well as adding volume. Very easy to use and comes in lots of different scents and doesn’t give me that nasty ‘talc hair’ look either πŸ˜‰
I buy these from my local Asda supermarket when they are on offer, the ‘Oriental’ batiste is currently on offer for Β£1.50 πŸ™‚
