MAC Mineralized skin finish – Light plus

I know anything ‘MAC’ is very popular and I totally understand why, their Mineralized skin finish in ‘Light plus’ is my most loved cosmetic item I have ever used!
The colour matches my skin to a tee, I use it with a big powder brush and swirl the powder over my face and neck after applying my foundation ( or often I’ll wear on it’s own for lighter coverage) and it transforms my face into a smooth velvety canvas…The product generally lasts me around the 6 month mark however that is with everyday use.

The beauty community online is full of reviews for this wonder product but I wanted to get my love and opinion as I adore this so much. If you haven’t already please go get one in your shade (online or in store/counter) & if you’re unsure about the shade the MAC girls/guys are always happy to help.

Mineralized skin finish  Lightscapade

I often feel that face highlighters  are one of the unsung heroes of the make up world, they lift all the right places and bring that ‘healthy glow’ so many of us want.
Lightscapade is a subtle, baked luminous highlighter that is swirled with different shades of beige/cream/soft white/soft blue, the colouring really works on my pale skin tone and doesn’t have the ‘Glittery’ effect that so many highlighters on the market have so it is perfect for highlighting more precise areas like the corner of the eyes and the cupids bow as well as the cheek bones and brow bones.

The baked formula leaves my skin feeling soft and dewy, I cannot be without this highlighter.

MAC Eye shadow – ‘Malt’

MAC’s matte eye shadow in ‘Malt’ is one of those shades you don’t think to buy, I actually bought it by mistake in the Sheffield MAC store thinking it was the colour ‘Shroom’.

I have to say, this is my ‘Go to’ eye shadow, I wear this nearly everyday as it is a great transitional colour (especially paired with MAC’s ‘Swiss Chocolate’ eye shadow) and it goes fantastic with a pale skin tone.

The colour is a little lighter than how it looks in the pan but works very well on it’s own.The colour is a mauvy shade with subtle purple undertones & matte formula which really compliment Green/blue eyes..As with all MAC’s eye shadows it is very blendable and stays on the lids all day with no creasing however if you are prone to oily lids I recommend using an eyelid primer for added staying power.
